Java Developer

About the Position
Innoprise Software is seeking talented Java Developers to become part of our growing team of software engineers.
As a Java Developer, you would be assigned to work on existing and new products. Responsibilities include individual programming and team debugging and documentation. Some interaction with customers, either via phone or email, may also occur.

Qualifications Summary

  • Experience in Java, C++, C#, or .NET development
  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is preferable—must be from an accredited 4-year College or University
  • Recent experience with Java
  • Strong grasp of Object-Oriented design and development
  • Familiar with the following technologies: J2EE, EJB, Servlets, JSP, XML, XSL, XSL:FO, --Apache FOP or other FO Processor, JBoss or other J2EE Application Server, HTML, JavaScript
  • Experience on both Windows and Linux, and respective platform shell scripting
  • Comfortable and productive in team and individual roles
  • Comfortable with customer contact and support
  • Strong English language verbal and written communication skills.

    Product Support Engineer

    About the Position
    Innoprise is seeking highly motivated, team-oriented professionals with previous experience in the software industry to join a small, fast-paced team supporting and developing state-of-the-art Web applications. The Product Support Engineer will serve as the primary support liaison between Innoprise products and our customers. The Product Support Engineer will provide telephonic and e-mail support to our customers, answering highly complex questions on function and usage of our products.

    Primary Responsibilities

  • Consulting with customers to identify and resolve issues
  • Providing technical support for the Innoprise ERP suite of products
  • Troubleshooting software issues relating to the suite of products
  • Developing on-line knowledge base

    Position Requirements

  • Minimum two years experience in a software engineering environment
  • Demonstrated help desk/technical support, especially supporting external customers
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting web-based applications and/or supporting Windows-based client/server applications
  • Outstanding customer support skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
