Dennis Harward has more than thirty years of experience in the field of high technology. From 1981 to 1999, he served as president and CEO of HTE, Inc. (now SunGard), a government software company he co-founded with his father. During his tenure at HTE, Dennis led the company that grew from $3,000 in capital at its outset to $98 million in revenue in 1998.
In 1999, Mr. Harward founded Harward Investments, Inc. to provide state-of-the-art technology and software solutions to the public sector. the Harward Investments portfolio included GTR, Helium Flash, PSG, CMUSA, and Avenir. In 2004, Mr. Harward's subsidiaries joined to form one company, Innoprise Software, Inc. At Innoprise, Mr. Harward's dream of delivering next generation ERP software to the local government market is now a reality. As CEO and President of Innoprise, Mr. Harward's vision of an interactive web-based user experience for government and municipalities has proven to be a brilliant solution. The Innoprise ERP product suite includes Financial Management, Tax, CIS, and Community Development applications. The open software architecture makes it easy to offer additional products like self-service kiosks and Citizen Access applications that offer 24x7 access to customers' back office applications.
Mr. Harward, was named the 1999 Software and Technology Entrepreneur of the Year for Florida, and award for which he was a finalist in 1998. He also received the 1998 Jim Moran Institute Entrepreneurial Excellence award. Mr. Harward holds an MBA form the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business.
