ORLANDO, FL and BEND, OR - September 15, 2005. Innoprise Software, Inc. today announced that Bullhead City, Arizona, has signed a contract to purchase the enterprise software company's Community Development solution. The new software will replace time- and resource-intensive manual processes with an automated methodology for creating, issuing and tracking the business functions and processes needed to meet the city's planning, zoning, building permitting, land management, code enforcement and cash receipting activities. Also purchased was software to enable mobile building inspections.

Bullhead City is located along the eastern banks of the Colorado River in northwestern Arizona. The city's population is 42,060, which increases by 15,000 seasonal and short stay visitors during the winter months.

The new Innoprise Community Development software will support Bullhead City's need to improve operational efficiency by improving workflows, automating manual processes and eliminating redundant activities. The software includes built-in workflow automation features, advanced inspector scheduling tools and the ability to expedite notification to code violators and track non-compliance.

According to Diane Vick, Mayor for the city, the challenge was to find a system that was intuitive and easy to use, yet offered advanced capabilities such as wireless inspection capability along with self-service public kiosks. "We looked at other vendors including Accela and CRW Associates and selected Innoprise Software based on their workflow features, ad-hoc reporting and inspector scheduling features,” explained Vick. “Bullhead City is looking forward to utilizing the new software to streamline our daily field and clerical operations, improve inspector productivity and reduce our overall cost of service,” adds Vick.
