BROOMFIELD, CO - May 10, 2006. The City of Casa Grande, Arizona, has gone live on Innoprise Software, Inc.'s Code Enforcement software replacing the City's legacy solution. The City plans on implementing Permitting by end of May 2006, followed by the remaining software modules. The City purchased the entire suite of Innoprise Community Development software including Code Enforcement, Licensing, Permits and Inspections, as well as Planning and Zoning modules. Casa Grande provides city services to more than 40,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers.

Innoprise Community Development software will support Casa Grande's need for an integrated solution that automates the creation, issuance and tracking of the City's community development activities. The new software tracks every project through its approval process, supports numerous search methods for quick retrieval with the ability to print, email or send information to Microsoft Excel™. Electronic files of any type can be attached to permits, permit reviews and inspections. A committee module is used to generate agendas, create committee member notifications and keep a record of the minutes.

The decision to purchase new software was driven by the need to improve application integration, provide easy access to data across departments, offer enhanced search capability and a strong desire for software flexibility. “Our existing legacy software used a Paradox database and offered very little field customization and absolutely no screen customization,” said Larry Rains, Director of Finance/IT for the City. “Our business needs have changed dramatically over the years and our legacy software was unable to keep up,” added Rains. “Innoprise uses modern technology advances that embrace flexibility,” said Rains. “Casa Grande is looking forward to utilizing the new Innoprise applications to improve efficiency and better serve our customers,” adds Rains.
