BROOMFIELD, CO – April 1, 2010. Innoprise Software, Inc. today announced that the City of Flagstaff, Arizona selected Innoprise’s Sales Tax software. The new software replaces an in-house system that had been in place for over 10 years and was no longer meeting the changing business requirements of the City. The City provides a variety of municipal services to its 60,222 citizens.

The City desired a solution that would provide users with greater ease, efficiency and production while reducing hidden support costs. The Innoprise application suite is comprised of new technology tools based on native internet architected solutions. The new Innoprise architected systems enables government officials a full function solution across their mission without the complexities that are introduced by older “legacy” systems.

Innoprise tax software brings a new level of efficiency to Flagstaff with ad-hoc reporting, automatic license approvals, validations, refunds, and write-offs, along with Microsoft Office integration. With Innoprise’s Tax data entry and retrieval has been optimized through an intuitive web-browser interface with a Windows theme. Plus, dashboards are available for top management to easily access system information. Internet account maintenance and online tax return submission are integrated into the system.
“From an IT systems perspective we anticipate Innoprise’s Internet architecture to provide enhanced system functionality,” said Ladd Vagen, Director of Information Technology for the City. “Our current Sales Tax system was requiring more and more time to support,” added Vagen. The City anticipates reducing their internal support time with the new system while bringing additional features to City users and citizens.
