BROOMFIELD, CO – March 13, 2009. Innoprise Software, Inc. today announced that the Town of Snowmass Village, Colorado, has gone live on Innoprise Software, Inc.’s Tax software. The new Tax Revenue software replaces a legacy system that had been in place for 15 years. Snowmass Village is the second largest ski mountain in Colorado.  The 25-square-mile town provides services to a population of over 2,000.

 Innoprise Tax is a fully integrated enterprise software solution developed specifically for the business needs of Colorado local government agencies.  Colorado towns and cities utilize the Innoprise Tax system to collect sales and use tax, occupational privilege tax, accommodations tax, property, licenses and permits taxes. 

The decision to purchase new software was driven by steady growth demands taking place at Snowmass Village.  “With the growth of the Town, we needed to have the ability to extract information for different types of businesses in different sectors of the Town,” said Marianne Rakowski, Finance Director for the Town.  According to Rakowski, Innoprise’s Tax software is much more advanced than the Town’s ADG Sales Tax system they were using.  Innoprise Tax allows users the ability to search on any field then convert results to Excel, Word, or PDF.  “The ability to extract information to excel and set up reports any way we wanted was a huge draw for us,” added Rakowski. 

Rakowski commented on the responsive relationships with the Innoprise staff.  “The most prominent reason we selected Innoprise was the one-on-one contact we had with Dennis and Bryce Harward and Jennifer Locetta,” said Rakowski.  “They are a great team to work with and our implementation and training was effortless,” added Rakowski.
