The Harward family has been involved in the
creation and implementation of governmental software for over 30 years.
In 1981, Dennis and his father founded SunGard HTE Inc.
(formerly HTE Inc.) and were quickly
recognized as a leader in the governmental software industry. Under
Dennis' guidance, the company grew from a start-up to more than 800
employees and $100 million in revenue. HTE Inc.
was the first governmental software company to go public and it once
set the standard for consolidation of the industry. In 1999,
Dennis recognized the need for a totally new direction in the technology
used to build governmental software and (under his holding company -
Harward Investments) Dennis assembled an elite team of software
engineers to create the next generation of governmental ERP systems. In
2001, Innoprise Software was formed and began delivering the new
technologies to Customers.
