BROOMFIELD, CO - February 5, 2008. The Village Of Glencoe, Illinois has contracted with Innoprise Software, Inc. for new enterprise software that will replace the Village’s current legacy system. Glencoe purchased Innoprise Financial Management, Payroll, Human Resources, CIS, and Community Development software, along with Internet enabling, Citizen Access. The Village Of Glencoe is a AAA rated community (by Standard & Poor’s) located on Lake Michigan (north of Chicago) and provides a wide-range of services to a population of approximately 8,762 customers.

The decision to purchase new software was driven by the recognition that the Village’s existing software would not serve the needs of the Village government and its residents as efficiently as Innoprise. According to Dave Clark, Director of Finance for the Village, the challenge was to find a flexible system that provided easy access to data across departments and to the community. “The new software offers inherent Internet capability for citizens, Microsoft Office integration and provides the Village an opportunity to evaluate and implement updated business processes without the software introducing limitations as to what those processes can be,” said Clark. “The entire ERP suite of software utilizes a workflow engine that can adapt to the way we do business. There are many built-in workflow automation features that will allow us to streamline standard business functions and improve departmental efficiency. The software's open architecture is platform and database independent and doesn’t use any third party software which lowers our support costs and increases our efficiency,” explained Clark.
