BROOMFIELD, CO – August 17, 2009. Innoprise Software, Inc. today announced that the City of Loveland, Colorado, has gone live on Innoprise Software, Inc.’s Tax software. The new Tax Revenue software replaces a legacy system that had been in place for 15 years. Loveland is located approximately 55 miles north of Denver and the City provides a variety of municipal services to its 61,400 citizens.

Innoprise Tax is a fully integrated enterprise software solution developed specifically for the business needs of Colorado local government agencies. Colorado towns and cities utilize the Innoprise Tax system to collect sales and use tax, occupational privilege tax, accommodations tax, property, licenses and permits taxes.

Loveland’s existing Tax system was outdated and many processes, such as delinquency processing, were manual. “Our existing system didn’t allow us to break out a deficiency between tax, penalty and interest,” said Tonia Hemmer, Revenue and Licensing Coordinator for the City. Manipulating the data and setting up a query for reports with Loveland’s existing Tax system was extremely challenging.

The City desired an integrated Tax solution to streamline departmental processes and simplify daily tasks. The City was looking for a vendor to partner with to provide a cost-effective browser based replacement solution that empowered their customers to easily access and report information.

Loveland selected Innoprise Tax for the enhanced functionality, ease of use, ad-hoc reporting and seamless Internet integration. “We are especially looking forward to utilizing payment plans and the special events processing features,” said Hemmer. These are two items that have always been a problem to track and they will be addressed in an upcoming release.
