Innoprise Software Announces A New Release of Citizen Access

BROOMFIELD, CO - October 22, 2008. Innoprise Software, Inc. is furthering their commitment to provide self-service functionality across all modules of their ERP software.  Innoprise announced today the availability of a new release of BillPay V2.0, one of the Citizen Access modules.  This latest release is designed on new architecture and offers an enhanced user interface and additional features to BillPay to address the needs of local government and utility industries.

The company also announces that the City of Loveland, Colorado, is the first company to go live on BillPay V2.0. The City went live on Innoprise’s Code module September 2007 and Planning and Zoning modules in November 2007.  Loveland has purchased Innoprise’s CIS, Tax and Financial Management application including Payroll and Human Resources software.  Loveland is located approximately 55 miles north of Denver and the City provides a variety of municipal services to its approximately 39,000 customers.

With BillPay V2.0, new and existing Innoprise customers can offer their citizens the ability to register and pay their utility bills over the Internet with a credit card.  BillPay V2.0 also includes options for emailing the credit card payment receipt, the ability to view and print statements, and view consumption and payment history. The BillPay module of Innoprise’s Citizen Access application allows Loveland’s utility customers access to their accounts in real time at their convenience. “Now our customers can inquiry on their account and see items such as balance due on their account, up to 24 months of billings statements depending upon how long their account has been open, consumption on their metered services, payment history and pay their utility bill on line using Visa, MasterCard or Discover,” said Delora Dixon, Programmer Analyst for the City. “Customer service clerks say it’s easy to process payments by phone,” comments Debbie Emery, Customer Service Supervisor for the City.  “We anticipate time savings related to delinquent accounts now that we accept card payments,” adds Emery.  “BillPay is easy for our customers to use,” said Sandy Ramirez, Utility Billing Supervisor for the City.  “We anticipate fewer checks to process, fewer cash to handle and a reduction in face to face transactions reducing utility billing staff’s repetitive tasks,” adds Ramirez.
