BROOMFIELD, CO – November 12, 2008. The
Village of Glencoe, Illinois has gone live with Innoprise's Financial
Management software. The new application replaced the Village's legacy
financial system that had been in place since 1993. Glencoe also
purchased Innoprise CIS and Community Development software, along with
Internet enabling, Citizen Access. The Village of Glencoe is an
AAA rated community (by Standard & Poor’s) located on Lake Michigan
(north of Chicago) and provides a wide-range of services to a population
of approximately 8,762 customers.
According to Dave Clark, Director of Finance for the Village,
their existing financial system required costly programming
modifications to accommodate the Village’s business processes
changes. Glencoe's Information Technology Committee recommended
that the Village looks at Innoprise as a possible long term solution to
their information technology needs. “Innoprise is a very
intuitive and logical system,” said Clark. “The ability of the
system to conform to our workflow, not the other way around was most
impressive. Our department is looking forward to implementing
updated business processes without the software introducing limitations
as to what those processes can be,” explained Clark. The entire
