BROOMFIELD, CO - June 12, 2008. The City
of Gladstone, MO has contracted with Innoprise Software, Inc. for new
enterprise software that will replace the city’s current legacy
system. The city purchased Innoprise Financial Management,
Payroll, Human Resources, CIS, and Community Development software,
along with Internet enabling, Citizen Access. The Innoprise
solution replaced their existing SunGard Public Sector (formerly H.T.E.
Inc.) legacy applications that had been in place since 1999. The
City of Gladstone is a community of nine square miles and services a
population of approximately 26,365 customers.
The decision to purchase new software was driven by the need
to replace Gladstone’s existing system that had become extremely costly
to maintain. According to Debra Daily, Director of Finance for the
city, the challenge was to find a system that did not have a legacy
foundation, rather used next generation technology. “The new
software offers the ability for system users to tailor their work
environment and easily pull reports. Plus, users can select data
for reporting and output to Word mail merge, Excel, PDF, XML, etc. and
transfers formulas (not just numbers) into Excel,” added Daily.

built-in workflow automation features streamline standard business
functions, as well as the ability to support user-defined, workflow
based business rules that govern how business processes are assigned,
