BROOMFIELD , CO - July 26, 2007 . Innoprise Software, Inc. today announced that the City of Frederick, Maryland , has signed a contract to purchase new enterprise software that will replace the Frederick 's legacy system . The city purchased Innoprise CIS, Financials and Community Development software, along with hardware and implementation services. Frederick , as Maryland 's second largest city has a population of 65,000.

The new Innoprise Community Development software will support the City of Frederick 's need to improve operational efficiency by improving workflows, automating manual processes and eliminating redundant activities. The new software package will replace the existing municipal software package, which handles water billing, payroll, code enforcement, land management, human resources, purchasing, permits, licensing and other day to day city operations.

According to Jon Angel, Director, Budget and Purchasing for the city, the challenge was to find a system that was web based and supported a variety of servers, yet offered flexibility, ad-hoc reporting and Microsoft Office integration. "We looked at other vendors including Cogsdale Corporation, New World Systems and Tyler Technologies and selected Innoprise Software based on their advanced features and ease of use,” explained Angel. “The Innoprise solution is by far the most leading edge municipal software we have seen and we are looking forward to utilizing the new software to improve productivity and reduce our overall cost of service,” adds Angel.
