Town of Erie, CO Goes Live on Innoprise Financial Software

BROOMFIELD, CO - August 21, 2008. Innoprise Software, Inc. announced today that Colorado’s Town of Erie has gone live with Innoprise’s Financial Management software. The Town also purchased Innoprise’s Community Development and CIS software. Erie is planning to deploy Community Development in Q4 2008, followed by CIS. Erie is full service community located in the heart of Colorado's major business and population centers and provides services to more than 16,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers.

“Converting to Innoprise Financials went very well,” said Molly Kostelecky Finance Director for the town. “Innoprise Financials uses an intuitive user design which has helped our staff easily navigate the new system, as well as embrace the new functionality,” added Kostelecky.

Innoprise’s workflow and business rules engine automates requisition and purchasing processes. Users enter the electronic requisition, and then send the requisition into the workflow process for approval. Once a requisition is approved, users can create a Purchase Order directly from the requisition. “This one feature has significantly reduced paper processing and increased our department productivity,” explained Kostelecky. The Town of Erie is looking forward to streamlining additional business processes with their new financial system and continuing to improve their departmental productivity.
