BROOMFIELD, CO - June 28, 2007. Loveland and Rio Blanco,
Colorado, and Sahuarita, Arizona have contracted with Innoprise
Software, Inc. for new Community Development software. The Innoprise
Community Development software will support each customer's need for an
end-to-end solution that will provide immediate access to the data
necessary to meet the needs of everyone from individual homeowners to
large developers, thus streamlining the community development process
from start to finish. The new software includes built-in workflow
automation features that track each step of a local government's complex
land management process, from planning, zoning, permitting, land
development, building plan review, building inspections, licensing and
code enforcement.
According to Dennis Harward, President and CEO, many
cities and towns are struggling with the shortcomings of their legacy
software. They are faced with the age-old dilemma of 'doing more with
less'. In order to become more efficient and provide convenient customer
service, cities and towns are looking to software and technology
advances to deliver results. In the market place today, the public
sector is being challenged to find a system capable of meeting both
existing and future functional requirements with seamless integration
between the various community development modules, an intuitive user
interface design, a native Internet architecture, and the ability to
generate reports using standard Microsoft™ Office products.
Innoprise Community Development is the first such solution
based on the Java™ 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE™) architecture.
The software is platform-neutral and uses a Web-based enterprise
technology. The Innoprise Community Development solution enables local
government agencies to provide staff and citizens with an up-to-date
view of the various phases and steps of the permitting and inspection
process, as well as providing the ability to monitor business license
status over the Internet. The software can be easily ported to kiosks
and mobile devices to further extend information access, reduce walk-in
traffic and provide building inspectors with low-cost wireless PDA
devices to view and manage inspections in the field.
"Our implementation team is looking forward to bringing
Loveland, Rio Blanco, and Sahuarita live on our Community Development
software in the coming months," said John VanHorn, project manager at
Innoprise.
Innoprise Software, Inc. provides enterprise software for
the specific business challenges of utilities and local government
agencies. Innoprise provides next generation software for CIS, financial
management, community development, tax and work management. The new
software is based on 30 years of industry experience, Java™ and Internet
technologies that enable Innoprise customers to reduce their cost of
service, streamline operations and improve productivity. For additional
